Mr. Haas joins Principal with over 31 years of automotive industry experience most recently as Assistant Vice President for the Eastern United States and has successfully managed a large team of Independent Agents and their account executives. His previous experience includes 17 years of invaluable retail market knowledge in both domestic and highline franchises, agency training and development with a focus on maximizing dealership performance and profits. Mike’s many years of experience as a reinsurance specialist providing global wealth management consult to both dealers and agents in all aspects of reinsurance, with a proven track record of performance. Mike honorably served his country in the United States Air Force during Operation Desert Storm, Desert Shield, and Liberation of Kuwait.

Bruce joins Principal with 29 years of experience in all aspects of dealership operations as well as computer software industry background specific to automotive. His experience includes serving as Platform Director for the Asbury Automotive Group’s Western Division for ten years and Sales Director for Dealertrack/Cox Automotive in the Pacific Northwest Region. September 19, 2019 – Effective immediately, Principal Warranty Corp now extends coverage to vehicles that are used for rideshare services on all Principal Auto Care and Principal Secure Care vehicle service agreements with the Business Use option.
Coverage will not be jeopardized when you select the optional Business Use for customers that intend to use their vehicles for rideshare services such as Uber and Lyft. Coverage will also be extended to existing contracts that already have the Business Use coverage purchased on their service agreements. Business Use coverage must be purchased at the time of vehicle sale and cannot be added at a later time.
